It’s sunny and and icy cold. Well colder than icy cold, 13F (-10 C). Hmm, wait other weather is telling me it’s 16 F, (-9 C) so much warmer.
At least I have burning sarcasm to keep me toasty.
I’m tired today, groggy today, and I know, like most of you, I’m fighting a sense of dread over the inevitable. Frankly, I’m not really sure how to deal with it.
I’m sure you aren’t either.
Like so many, many other things, this one we have to take as it comes, one foot in front of the other, one step at a time. We can hope for internal discord and implosions but we cannot count on them.
I like the idea of keeping our eyes closer to home, looking for positive ways around us to keep doing good as long as we can.
The unknown is scary. The unknown we can only anticipate to be bad is scarier.
But tomorrow isn’t here yet. We can only deal with today, and that’s the way we’ll have to do it.
Today by today by today.
I’m going to treat my groggy brain to another cup of coffee, I think, and hope it works its caffeine magic. Have a great Monday.
