It’s really cold again today, but also really sunny. I’ve had coffee but it hasn’t even touched the fog heavily settled around my head.

One of those kinds of days.

This morning for breakfast I had some yogurt. Exciting, I know.

Bear with me.

And I thought I’d finished it, it looked empty from where I sat. But I changed my angle just a little bit, and saw there was still a good-sized dollop on the side where I couldn’t see it.

More than a spoonful, really, which is a lot when you’re talking about a cup of yogurt, which isn’t a cup but we don’t need to get into that now.

All I had to do was change my perspective a little bit. And the cup wasn’t empty anymore.

Right now, we’re looking at a lot of empty yogurt cups. We are being bombarded by empty yogurt cups. We are in a sea of empty yogurt cups.

But if we change our perspective, only a little bit, we might see that those cups aren’t entirely empty.

Is a dollop a meal? Obviously not, not unless you’re dollop-sized yourself, and then I have many questions.

But it’s something, right?

It’s something.

And it’s more than we thought we had. And maybe that’s the most important point of all.

Yes, there will be cups, among all the cups, that are empty. We simply wash those out and recycle them and hope they’re something better the next time around.

But.

Among them.

Slightly change your perspective and look for the dollops.

Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

Buy me a cup of coffee!
