It’s pretty warm and very sunny. The kind of day that makes you think spring can’t be that far away.

Even if we’ll be lurking in another kind of winter for a while.

Today, it seems, the writing will be like untangling a knot, picking an impossible little ball until finally a thread comes free. I noticed I was sitting that way, too, while trying to find the loose end.

Stretch. Take up space.

That’s the least to which we’re entitled.

We do it in so many ways, try to take up less space. Particularly women; largely women.

As the victims of manspreading will attest.

Weight is only one of those things. Women should be so thin as to almost disappear.

Perhaps as to disappear.

I think the women republicans are finally learning that lesson. One little shift in their regime, and poof, they’re gone.

A whiter, more male front-facing world will not be a better one, history itself can attest to that. As they manspread and expect us to take up less space.

Well.

It’s our space too.

Try it on, spread out, see how it feels.

And have a great Tuesday.

Buy me a cup of coffee!
