It’s sunnier today and it’s one of those days where things have to get done but I’d rather just lounge in comfy clothes and watch the clouds go by.

No such luck.

Before we set off into blog posts unknown, I must thank SOMEONE for the very lovely cup of coffee. This SOMEONE is a steadfast supporter of my writing in a myriad of ways, not the least of which is keeping it fueled with caffeine. Thank you, SOMEONE, for being a frequent bright spot, not because of coffee but by being yourself.

And now Tuesday.

It was one of those nights where I woke up when it was still and quiet, or at least as still and quiet as you get in a city. I had trouble going back to sleep, and when I did, I had intense, hyperreal dreams of places I’ve never been and people I’ve never met.

I get those a lot.

But then the world doesn’t care how your night goes, not really, because the sun comes up regardless and appointments must be kept. Lists get longer, and it’s like tasks have a one in, one out policy.

Six in one out, maybe.

There is a hectic quality to this wrapping up of a year, however the year may have gone. Like we’re packing after an extended stay, and we know we can’t come back to get anything if we forget it.

Ah, time.

Anyway, that’s it for me on this Tuesday, I think we’re likely to have quick posts when there are posts, and I’m sure we’re all OK with that.

Have a great day, and may all your to-dos get easily to-done.

Buy me a cup of coffee!
