It’s sunny now though it was cloudy earlier, and I think I can safely say I’m not feeling exactly frivilous.
I am sure there is a lot of that going around.
But before we get there, thank you so much, Deb, for the coffees! It’s incredibly kind and generous of you to keep me caffeinated! I know we were hoping for so much more out of this still nascent year, but this is so much appreciated in this week of tidal waves that is still not over. Thank you.
And now, Friday.
I know we need a bit of lightness. I’m absolutely trying to scrounge around for at least a small glimmer of frivolity. But man, they’re making it difficult.
So today I am doing a total cop-out post! One hundred percent dodging the mental excavation to find something light and easy and distracting.
How?
I’m going to to ask you! Here, over on Spoutible, wherever you prefer.
Today I pose a question: what is your soul-satisfying, calming, entertaining or hilarious corner of escape?
What little thing do you do?
What little thing do you watch?
How are you keeping yourself from plunging fully into the sludge?
I’m using my favorites, TV and crafts, and now building blocks (they’re not all LEGO). With amusement I realized I might be OK with following the directions that aren’t always clear because I’ve assembled so much furniture.
It’s similar, only tiny.
How about you?
And with that, I will wish you a lot of time to do what you enjoy this weekend. Have a great Friday.
