Still very cold here, 15 F/-9 C, though it’s warmer than it’s been. Must be the flames coming off of my words yesterday. If you missed it, it might be worth a read.

Or it could be the steam coming off the lovely cup of coffee from Bev! Thank you so much for it, Bev, I truly appreciate it. There are few things more gratifying than when my words resonate. You rock, as always.

So you might think that I’ve used up all the anger, but I don’t think we’ve scratched the surface. Because I want to get this straight: it is ALL REPUBLICANS.

All of them. There’s no differentiating among all the little subgroups they want you to believe exist. Until and unless they step up into their jobs and use their power to get rid of every slimy splotch of fascism in the executive branch, you know what that makes them?

Fascists.

They’re still republicans, though. It means that the republican party itself is fascist.

I have bleated this since January of last year, when the first horrors unfolded. Republicans can end this at any time.

At.

Any.

Time.

Between my typing one sentence and the next. And we are in their platform’s stated doomsday scenario.

A weapon was seized by a tyrannical government and the gun owner shot to death.

That is ALL THE MARBLES for republicans, as I went through yesterday.

Don’t believe their emphatic words or practiced, empty, empathy. We’ve seen that more times than a certain round-headed cartoon character has seen a football disappear from under his feet.

Believe what they do.

And if it’s not holding the ENTIRE executive branch responsible for its actions, it’s nothing but a show. The entire thing, from top to bottom.

If you remember nothing else from this post, please remember this, which is not original to me by any stretch but also I have no idea where it originated:

Inaction is also an action.

Republicans, in the face of open, clear fascism, as the right they’ve held the very most dear is finally trampled but by one of their own, act by not acting.

They are not who they say.

They are what they do.

That’s it for me today, shorter, since yesterday was longer.

Have a good one and make sure to contact your government reps, especially if they are republicans.

Buy me a cup of coffee!
