#FridayThoughts: Even though the storm has ended

Standard

Housekeeping note, I’m taking a little break from Medium posts starting today and for next week. If you’re looking for something to read, I have a bunch you may have missed! And now Friday.

It’s sunny and warmer today, and by warmer, I mean the mid-30s but that’s better than the single digits.

This morning while doing yoga, I had a vision of myself as flotsam on the ocean as it roiled and huge waves crashed and the water foamed and turned white during a long, raging storm. Tossed around, submerged and then resurfacing, submerged and then resurfacing.

And now, even though the storm has ended, it doesn’t mean you forget the storm.

Or the bits lost along the way.

I still feel, a lot of the time, like I’m bobbing along in the vast, wide ocean. And like the recent storm brought with it the force of all the past ones.

It’s a lot to process.

And sometimes I think I think too much entirely. Given that some people don’t seem to think at all, there has to be an in-between.

See? More thoughts.

Anyway, that’s it for me this week, I hope you have a wonderful Friday and a perfect weekend.
