It’s as super sunny day, in the 80s, which is where it should be, I think. Hot enough I need some air conditioning.

Yesterday I didn’t use twitter or whatever it now is at all, only Spoutible, and it was just so…calm. Even with the indictment news.
When I’ve live-tweeted events like that on twitter, I’d get scores of horrible responses from trolls. The more people saw my tweets, the more I’d get, making genuine interaction very difficult.
On Spoutible, not a single troll. Only conversation.
It shifts the focus entirely from internet points follower counts and popularity to actual exchanges of ideas. It is, at its heart, social.
And isn’t that what we actually want?
If chasing the points is what makes you happy, go for it. But on Spoutible the points feel irrelevant, beyond meeting new people to interact with. It’s a different mentality entirely.
No one is clamoring to be the center of attention.
So I plan on spending more time there. I’ve said I was going to and the more I do the more I like it.
Hmm, no direct wisdom here, so, umm, try different things?
