It’s gray, perhaps raining and I think we may be in for thunderstorms again. And my coffee cup is empty and though that seems like a me problem, it could quickly become a we problem so I’m going to take care of that and come right back.
OK, so that’s going.
It may not be finished before I’m done writing, but you know what they say, you can’t have everything.
Sometimes not even coffee.
I’ve been thinking about Medium as, well, a medium, and I’m not sure I see the value to me at this point. Now you have to be a member to read anything behind a paywall. I’m not even sure there are friend links anymore.
If it’s not behind a paywall, it doesn’t make money, so I’m not sure how that helps me. I haven’t noticed a huge growth in following over there. Though I’m probably doing it wrong. Who knows.
I do a lot of things wrong.
Oh I think my coffee beeped, once again, I’ll return.
Ah. Coffee.
Everything is always changing, always evolving. Just because it worked before it doesn’t mean it will continue to work; that seems especially true of anything where a corporation makes money off of your effort.
Don’t feel you have to stick to what you’ve always done because you’ve always done it. Change can be hard but sometimes it will happen with or without you.
And that’s it for me and my coffee (to clarify, we’re done writing, I haven’t finished it that would be fast and it’s still hot). Have a great Wednesday.
