It’s a brightly sunny day and I’m about to embark on my technology respite. We’ll see how it goes.
The plan is to still have posts for you magically appear even when I’m not being all techy, but whether that will work, well, we’ll all have to wait and see how that also goes.
Even now, running a quick Google search, AI sought to answer my question. I suppose AI has always answered our Googled questions, but now it’s more apparent. Will it make things easier? Harder?
Will we even notice, after a while?
Another thing to see how it goes. Now every news story has an AI summary. I think my posts have one too, I’ve never looked. And of course Spoutible has them, it’s had them for a while, and it’s added Accuracy Alerts to the mix.
Those are a little more futuristic, though, because they’re already analyzing complex statements where parts are true and parts are false, far, far faster than a person can. And though of course anything programmed by a human will have some bias, with less of it, from what I’ve seen.
As of this writing, AI doesn’t hate anyone, AI doesn’t want things to be true or false. Of course, given time, that could change.
We’ll wait and see how it goes.
Speaking of futuristic, the AI from WordPress generated the image above. It does seem to fit the theme of the post today. I think it would even work as a writing prompt.
