It’s gray and rainy and not super cold. The gray feels right. I also feel like the AI really nailed the image on the first try.

Though no amount of money can soothe the rotting slime of the gaping wound a lack of soul leaves, republicans are going to continue to try, throwing more and more down that empty pit.

In order to do that, they claim they need to take away healthcare from 72,058,701 Americans on Medicaid, as of last count in October.

Almost as many people as donald got votes.

Among those republicans want to allow to die, or choose to kill, whether you want to go passive or active, though this is pretty active, are nursing home or long term care residents. Sixty-three percent of nursing home residents are paid by Medicaid.

At least that’s going to anger the for-profit nursing home sector. They’ll be bankrupt in no time.

As of 2023, 35.7% of ALL US CHILDREN under 19 were on Medicaid. We already know republicans could not care less about dead children, though. See: school shootings.

But their for-profit education comrades are going to have trouble putting butts in seats when there are more than a third fewer butts to be seated.

Will every person robbed of Medicaid die because of it? Obviously I can’t say for sure, but probably.

Eventually.

Because if you cannot have Medicaid, which already has some pretty stringent income requirements, you can’t have healthcare.

But republicans don’t care at all, they’re going to take your tax dollars and put them down their personal moneyholes.

They’re probably laughing about it right now and ordering some beers and pizza. I told you at the top. They are soulless.

Yes, I’m furious, I’m furious because I’m seeing wonderful, lovely people calmly contemplating their demise through lack of care. I’m furious because none of us deserve this and those soulless republicans and rich people most certainly don’t deserve to get richer by essentially sucking the lifeforce out of people.

What more do they need? What more can their money buy?

We’ve already covered that it can’t buy a soul.

So this is what I suggest. If you or someone you care about uses Medicaid, make it personal. Send letters to GOP members of Congress showing them who they’ll be killing. Be sure to let them know how their actions will shorten or end lives.

Send them to local newspapers, local TV stations. Suggest a “Faces of Medicaid” segment so that every day, people can see the individuals who will not survive or will have limiting health issues.

Go to meetings and bring the pictures. Stand up and tell these republicans who they will be killing and harming. Ask them to take a good look so they can haunt their dreams if soulless creatures have dreams.

This is not an administrative decision. It is a decision to choose death for millions of Americans from the people who sold themselves as “pro-life.”

Do not let them make it bland. Do not let them make it boring.

It is not.

More than 72 MILLION Americans will be harmed by this move, for the benefit of people who already have everything.

Make it personal. Because it is personal.
