It’s the kind of day with big, blocky clouds between patches of blue, or vice-versa, depending on how you look at it. And yet it doesn’t seem bright out.

Weird.

Before we get where we’re going, if ever we do, you know how that goes, thank you, Deb, for the coffee! Wow do I need it, even more so yesterday, my brain was in a static hold. I really appreciate it.

Speaking of coffee, there’s the sweet siren beep. I’ll be back in a second.

Well that helped.

I love the time lapse of a blog post.

Today I have spring cleaning on my mind, not that I’ve ever been a big “it’s Spring, clear everything out!” person. Though in my universe of possible mes, I’d like that one.

But beyond clearing out the physical cobwebs, I’m also thinking about clearing out the mental ones, opening my mind and getting some fresh air in.

Again, maybe not literal fresh air but also why not literal fresh air?

Oh because I just looked at the temperature and though it looks exceedingly springy it’s only 37 F. So not very warm.

Metaphorical it is, then.

We’ve had a lot of doom and gloom, and a lot of heaviness, and whether this Spring looks like any other we’ve experienced, we won’t know until we live it. But one thing is immutable.

It’s Spring.

It’s a season of growth, of renewal even in the harshest of circumstances. There are fresh starts to be had here.

If we choose to have them.

I was watching a show, I’m not enjoying it, but one character asked when loss can be a good thing. And that stopped me, leaving me turning it over in my mind.

When can loss be a good thing?

We are phoenixes, every one of us, with ashes personal and global.

Let us rise.

And have a great Tuesday.

Buy me a cup of coffee!
