It’s gray, and I think we’re looking at a temperature shift, downward, I hope, because it was close to 90 degrees yesterday. Cold to hot, that’s Chicago for you.
Somehow, you never get used to it.
Yup, downward, it’s 69 right now. A twenty-degree drop in a day. For my Celsius friends, we were at 31.7, and today it’s 20.5.
It’s funny how, if you use one, the other is generally meaningless. Or maybe that’s only us F folks, we tend to be like that in general I guess. Unless people are sciencey. Then you have to use C.
Wow, this post is shaping up to be a barn burner!
Nothing hotter than temperature, amirite??
I’m only a quarter sorry for that.
I’m back here again, chatting with you, and it feels like so much has changed, minute to minute, and nothing has changed, minute to minute.
We are where we are.
Where I am today is wanting to go back to bed, but I don’t think that’s the answer to anything, not even tiredness because I’m often only groggy after a nap and not refreshed.
It does seem, though, sometimes, like the blankets over your head could stop any kind of invasion, can make the world turn OK again, can make this Twilight Zone normal into actual normal.
Sadly, thus far, science has yet to prove the possibility.
Silly science.
So I guess that is not an answer.
Instead of remaining mired in the old, in the terrifying, in the cannot control, let’s turn this thing around. I will tell you something new I am trying. You can tell me something new you are trying. Because we can continue to grow no matter what the world looks like, or what the county looks like.
I got a small LEGO kit as a gift from a friend, it’s a pink typewriter, though it can also be two other things. It will always be a pink typewriter, though.
I had never put together a LEGO set before, and I enjoyed it, so I got some more and some “building block sets.” I did a flamingo that can also be other things. I’m working on a kingfishder.
It is not going well.
I am doing something wrong, as it keeps coming apart in one specific area and it won’t go on the stand correctly.
Sigh.
But I am learning.
And it is new.
What are you trying? You can be great at it, or middling, or not so good like me!
And with that question, I will wish you a fabulous Thursday, in which you try one new thing.
