It’s sunny, warmer than it has any business being in November, and I’m on the tail-end of a migraine I can’t quite figure out.
Something triggered it. What, I don’t know.
So we will do our best not fully brained.
I will refrain from all the comments that just popped into my head from that, at least my restraint hasn’t fully gone. Not sure if that’s a plus or minus from your perspective.
Former vp/evil overlord dick cheney died, and I never thought I’d think that the worst among has hadn’t yet gone when that happened. Yet here we are.
Never offer the universe a challenge, I guess.
I haven’t seen any admonishments about saying mean things from evil overlord central, so I suspect he won’t be lionized in quite the way he would have expected. We’re certainly not going to do it.
The funny thing–if anything right now can be funny–is he really was the architect of where we are now. He broke the rocks, and by rocks I mean foundations of democracy, only to have the shrine snatched away by a guy who has never done a thing himself.
And that party he built, well, I suspect they couldn’t care less.
Honestly I’m probably giving him more thought than they are.
When we say republicans don’t care about anyone, we mean they don’t care about ANYONE.
Meanwhile there are elections today, and maybe shenanigans because I saw something about bomb threats closing polling places in New Jersey.
If you can vote, VOTE. And not for republicans. NEVER for republicans. Because you can see what they do when they have power.
They do this.
I also saw that the government may be shutting down airspace and grounding flights, reportedly due to the shutdown, which isn’t that relevant for this post but you probably need to know.
