It’s sunny today, maybe a bit warmer than yesterday, and I think I’ve figured out why I needed so much coffee.
Woo. Hoo.
I’m playing another round of cold or allergy, but given my dad was like this two days ago, allergy seems a little less likely. Not impossible though.
I am a sneezy mess. And who doesn’t enjoy that?
Literally everyone. Clearly.
I’m FUN today. Definitely leaning cold.
ALAS.
We’re still in the weird in-between where all the media outlets are shouting about how the government is going to reopen ANY SECOND NOW and yet many seconds have passed and the government has not reopened.
Say what you will about the Democrats who voted to end the shutdown, with the military set to miss their paychecks in two days, republicans still haven’t been able to convert this into anything but an community center learning center seminar on foot dragging and getting greedy.
And they can’t blame the Democrats. The Democrats already handed them the ball.
Maybe, just maybe, there was some planning in all of this.
What do I know, I’m running through tissues like republicans run through speakers of the house. I have this twinkling little feeling mikey’s next.
Or maybe that’s the stuffy head talking.
Anyway, that’s it for me today, I can’t shake the feeling there was something else I wanted to chat about, but I guess it will have to wait until tomorrow.
