The image above (a gray futuristic city with neon signs and bright lines going across from building to building with people walking on wet pavement in suits) is how WordPress’s image generator summarized this post all on its own. I kinda like it.

It’s gray and ominous today, there was rain earlier, and though it doesn’t say we should expect more, it looks like it.

The roads still look wet and the the wind is strong.

It’s another long day of things to do that I don’t want to do but once I do them they will be done so there’s that at least. Sometimes that’s the best motivation you can scrounge up, knowing that if you get through it, you’re through it.

Although sometimes the best way through it is out of it, which springs to mind as I had to break to get an eyelash out of my eye.

Fun.

I wonder if anyone has ever added up how much time in our lives is dedicated to all the things we don’t want to do. And how much for fun.

Probably not.

I bet it would cause a riot, except for the people who have all the marbles, but maybe that’s why they want all the marbles.

Though, also, they don’t look like they’re having fun a lot of the time either.

I saw something I didn’t open about how scientists or mathematicians (didn’t read it, remember) proved we don’t live in a simulation. That’s one of those theories that’s out there, sometimes, that we are but sprites in the Matrix.

Well, not anymore.

But if this was a simulation, you’d think whoever was programming it or however that works could make it a lot more fun and a lot less drudgery.

If we’re not actually three dimensional beings, at the very least, give us teleportation and no traffic.

Because place to place is such a grind.

Anyway, that’s it for my slightly weird and oddly unsettling thoughts for the day. I hope you have a lovely, chore-free Tuesday.
