Gray again today, and this one is going to be quick, I suspect. So much to do and so little of it done yet.
I blame Spoutible and all you interesting, wonderful people there. How dare you entertain me too much.
So the door hanging yesterday was…intense. My dad has a 3d printer, and we found a template for the Ikea hinges, but it didn’t work with our old Ikea cabinets so we had to adjust and print it again. But it is GREAT.
We got two up, and we can use it for two more and then we have the pantry.
Do I wish I could call someone up and say “we will pay you to finish this?”
Oh yes I do.
Do I have any idea who that could be?
I do not.
Besides I’m sure this is building character or whatever else they say to make difficult, not fun things, fun.
Plus side I do like the look of the doors, minus side, I think we’re going to end up changing all the upper cabinets. We’ll see when we’ve done more.
The real world is encroaching even through this haze of doors, with the latest being hate symbols are not hate symbols, though the Coast Guard said it never said that. And of course there was the threat of execution for sitting members of Congress because they told the military to follow the law and the Constitution and not illegal orders.
I mean think about that.
The republicans are claiming any order given by donald is legal because he’s the supreme ruler leader business guy hair model, but that is equally ludicrous.
I feel like the doors are easier.
