It’s somewhat sunny and somewhat gray, we’re supposed to get rain but that’s not looking too likely right now.
It feels too quiet.
In that ominous way.
Or maybe that’s because we’re living in ominous times.
There is so much thrown at us at all moments now, unending, relentless, wave after wave. And, if we’re being honest, if we’re being very, very honest, there is not a lot that we can do a lot about.
So much of it, at this point, is well beyond our control.
Which is even more disheartening when we have done all that we, as individuals could do. We voted for a beautiful, colorful, brighter world.
And other people voted to light a match.
That fire has a life of its own at this point, even if we somehow manage to put it out, there is so much scorched earth to contend with.
Remember when I said I was going to try to not be so entirely depressing? Welp, that’s not working out at all.
From the beginning of one day to the end of it, we have no idea what will unfurl, and while that used to include some lovely possibilities, that seems to have reduced and reduced and reduced.
The bad people have the floor.
We have to get it back.
Anyway, that’s it for me on this Thursday, I figure I’ve bummed us all out enough in even this short amount of space. I hope you have a great, inspired day, filled with ideas to get us through.
