It’s gray today, though no rain is expected. Still coolish, not super cold, but those temps that let you know there will be days ahead you won’t even need a coat.
We can think about that, at least.
I’m having one of those sessions where I’m waiting for an idea to pop out of the old Idea-N-ator (patent pending, when I get an idea of how to build it), which seems to happen a lot these days.
I don’t think it’s an issue of too little to write about.
But too much.
The things I have to say, though, are about the same things we’re seeing everywhere. There’s a point at which they feel like words, words, words.
As if there is a detailed map that could be viewed from above.
We are here.
But the paths out of here, well, they’re pretty limited right now. And I don’t mean that in a bummer way, although it is, inherently, a bummer, and I would have preferred to avoid here all together, we didn’t.
At least not in this timeline.
We’ve got the courts and the voting and those are our equipment, cutting the path forward. We’ve got pressure on our elected reps to make sure they’re walking with us.
And we’ve got to vet the candidates that are vying to lead the way. Can they?
Will they?
We’ve seen what duds look like, let’s not do that to ourselves again.
Anyway, I’m going to go tinker with the Idea-N-ator as it’s still not churning them out as it should. It’s had all the coffee it’s allowed in a day, so it’s going to have to respond to something else.
