The weather says it’s raining but it doesn’t look like it to me. Probably that thin, misty rain.

Who knows.

I’ve had a morning full of mild inconveniences, and while they don’t necessarily take over the day, they can very much slow it down.

Or me down, in this case.

So here I am, finally at my post in both senses of that word. I considered a word-prompt story but I didn’t have the fortitude after this morning, especially for the meaner among the word prompters.

You know who you are.

And it’s technically not even morning anymore, so there’s that.

Anyway, I suppose the real news is we’ve all made it to Friday, whatever that looks like, as the end of April ticks its way down. Hard to believe that’s where we are, but it is.

It’s been a long week, I can’t even see back to the beginning of it, and for some reason, I’m extra tired today. Could be the weather, could be the world.

Whatever it is, I’m hoping it will soon be a thing of the past, especially if it’s the problems of the world. High hopes, sure, but you’ve got to aim for something.

Anyway, that’s it for me for today, I’m afraid my deep insight is as elusive as my path from A to B, so hopefully it’s enough to see us through until Monday.

I hope you have a wonderful day and a restful weekend.
