Why yes, it’s very late, though I got up very early, and right now I’m sitting in one of so many waiting rooms lately. It’s not a bad one; it gives the impression of sunlight without actually having sunlight.
I need to rethink that sentiment.
You probably know things haven’t exactly been smooth recently, with the latest fun being the washing machine that wouldn’t turn on. At all. Just a large, useless brick.
So that’s a good time.
And yes, as many of you astutely noted, this isn’t the first appliance to rebel this year. I don’t think it’s even the third.
I mean what the actual electrical conspiracy.
Writing in public is not really my thing. For example, the man who was sitting somewhere else who has his phone ring turned up to shriek for some reason, the moment he saw someone typing and the other guy in this little alcove quietly on his phone, he sat down ostentatiously. He’s now speaking nonstop into the phone with it at least four inches from his ear and sniveling.
So that is also fun.
Hopefully he’ll be called soon.
I expect things might go this way for the time being, later posts pecked out while a computer perches perilously on my lap. Constant looks around, constant watchings of doors to see if the appointment is over and everything needs to be packed up all over again.
All while I’m trying to shut out the noises and heavy presence of humanity. I guess it’s one of those things, I can’t really appreciate the quiet of my desk, the distance of my window, until there’s a guy shaking his foot in my peripheral vision as he waits for the next banshee ring of his phone.
Anyway, I’m going to call this is for a Tuesday, even though I missed Monday. It’s all kind of difficult right now, so we’ll do the best that we can do.
Have a great rest of your Tuesday.
