It’s still sunny and warm, and my dad only has one appointment so that’s good. I’m really draggy today.

I suppose that’s to be expected.

Which is why I’d like to heartily thank SOMEONE for the cup of coffee (wink). Trust me, I’ve torn through it already I’d say, hoping for a little pep. I’m so glad you’re happy to see a post, because I’m definitely happier posting. Thank you so much for your quiet support.

And speaking of quiet support, thank you so much, Deb, for the coffee! The boost is very welcome right now as I feel bleary even when I’ve slept. You are always such a kind soul, ready for a bit of support or a bit of fun and often both at the same time. Thank you.

And now Tuesday.

Speaking of coffee, I learned that if you usually take milk and none is available, you can put a few grains of salt in it and it takes away the bitterness. Amazingly it actually works! Or if that’s not available, a splash of cold water helps.

And it really does because that’s what I did while waiting for my dad’s procedure last week.

Like most science we don’t know the details of (well at least I don’t know the details of) it feels as though it’s magic. And who am I to say it isn’t?

We could all use a little magic right now.

Besides, the supernatural is one of the best ways to avoid watching reality. I suspect humans figured that out ages ago.

My dad and I are holding steady, I’d say, hopefully today’s appointment will help on the way to healing. That road ahead looks pretty long from here, but as the proverb goes, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

And we’re at least several steps in, so we can call that a head start.

That’s it for me on this Tuesday, I had such pearls in my head sitting in waiting rooms, and yet when faced with the actual page, they scurry.

Traitors.

But we’ll get the rhythm back, you and I, eventually.

Regardless, I hope you have the most marvelous Tuesday.

Buy me a cup of coffee!
