Well, we can start with me initially titling this “Tuesday Thoughts” so there’s that. But here we are, electoral college day, and the coffin lid is screwed down on the zombie that is trump’s dictatorial dream. Republicans in Congress might yet try to push their coup in January, but if anyone can put an end to that, it will be the Speaker.
Done and dusted.
Sociopaths are exhausting. And they should be banned from holding public office.
Anyway, it’s brightly sunny today, and I don’t expect much will get done besides watching our democracy heal itself. And I look forward to the day in the near future when I can go a full twelve hours without seeing or hearing his name.
Unless it’s in the context of a criminal prosecution. Then bring it on.
So I’m off to Monday, rather than to Tuesday, and wherever you are, whenever you are, have a good one.
