It’s a mottled day with a mottled sky, and it’s well, well after noon as I finally sit down to write.

One of those mornings.

And yet I still feel accomplished, sort of. My dad ordered a new base for his bed; I ordered groceries; and somehow, against the odds of all delivery windows, they both arrived at the same time.

Exactly the same time.

It was a hectic little burst, though both turned out just fine, the new base fit in the old headboard set up, the groceries were largely as ordered, but for a few things and a couple not so great looking heads of garlic.

I have garlic powder. I will survive it.

But this is how I come to find myself in front of the keyboard much later than I anticipated. As they were both a little earlier than anticipated. And a glitch had the people from the mattress company circling the block, so it really did seem like the day-stars were aligned.

I guess the stars are always there, they’re only harder to see. That’s a whole other post though. Maybe.

I don’t know, I’m kind of scattered today.

Anyway, I am going to head off to prep things that need prepping, and organize things that need organizing as there are many of those, and possibly lunch things that need lunching.

Regardless, I hope you get a little serendipity in your day today, and have a wonderful Wednesday.
