OK, I admit it. My brain hasn’t entirely returned from its vacation, and I’m pretty sure it’s off frolicking somewhere without me. Maybe it’s somewhere warmer than here, though probably not somewhere sunnier. It’s very sunny today. It looks as though the sky is cheerful about the low temperature, like it’s saying “Whatcha gonna do?” with a big sky-ly shrug.
Whatcha gonna do indeed.
I’d like to be zooming through my tasks, transformed into an efficiency robot, with every second well-utilized. Instead, I am meandery. Wednesday is no day for meandery.
I have at least gotten a longer list going, and selected some of the tasks I can get done today, so that, I suppose, is a start. I’ve even crossed a couple of them off. In fact, I’m doing one right now.
Perhaps there is a bit of NaNoWriMo fatigue still lingering, there’s nothing quite like a NaNo push. Or maybe I’m simply an excellent procrastinator (I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I’m very good). But I suppose it doesn’t matter what it is.
The fact remains that the days off have come and gone, and now it’s back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, start your productivity engines.
