So we’re back, Accountables! (Yes, no? One of these days we’ll get a good nickname.)
It’s that time of the week where we chat about how it’s all going and give some updates on our ongoing projects! We had a bit of a break while I was on vacation, but breaks can’t last forever, and vacations can’t last forever, though maybe it would be nice if they did. Or maybe it wouldn’t because things that sound great in theory almost always go awry.
It’s possible I might be doing too much plotting. And not the overthrow the universe kind. I’ve had a project rattling around my head this week, an idea nearly formed, but not quite there. I need more research.
Ah, research, that bastion of legitimate procrastination.
I’ve also been readjusting to life in the real world, without daily maid service, with dishes and laundry and making meals and stuff that doesn’t get done unless I do it. I liked it so much the other way. No wonder so many writers came from the elite classes; they were the only ones with all that time made free to write.
So what I’m saying is it wasn’t my most productive week ever, but it wasn’t my worst week. I blogged every day, and that counts for something. Or so I decree.
How was your week?
