Why yes I completely forgot that Saturday was a blogging day. To make up for it, and my behindedness on the social aspect of A to Z, I decided not to cheat on X and bring you a real word.

Xenolithic.

It refers to a piece of rock (xenolith in the noun form) that is different from the rock that surrounds it. I felt like we could all identify.

Nature sure is something. And not always something good, because it’s snowing and it’s nearly May.

Nearly. May.

I’d call this weather xenolithic.

I hope it’s a nicer day wherever you are.

  1. The weather is certainly strange. Our summer seemed to be lasting forever but it was cool enough to put the fire on last night for the first time. The days are still warm and the forecast for next Wednesday is 25 degrees Celsius.. Only one month until winter!

  2. Interesting word! Much more fun to write about than mine – Xylophone. LOL!
