It’s gray today, and maybe it will rain. Maybe it won’t.
It’s hard to say.
Another week in the books, another pandemic week in the books, and it seems like the worse it gets the more people fight reality to pretend it’s all done and dusted. It very much is not.
It could have been, of course, had everyone just done what they were supposed to do, had everyone gotten their vaccinations and put on their masks and deprived the virus of new victims.
But if we’ve learned anything about the right, they love being victims.
Not to erase the antivaxxers on the left, either, they’re also problematic.
Anyway, everyone doing the right thing didn’t happen and Republicans continuing to truculently legislate and order the wrong thing did happen and so while they’ll never take ownership of it, we’re mired here, short of their beloved (eyeroll) “freedoms” because though they demand them, they refuse to do anything to safeguard them.
Good times.
