Since it’s Tuesday, here is my #MomUpdate, “Run of out worry.” Let’s get to Tuesday.
It’s primary day here in Illinois, and I’ve voted. I really hope people understand just how important this election is; it could prove even more decisive than 2016 or 2020, because if Democrats don’t win, these horrible, anti-Democratic, theocratic policies of Republicans could become permanent.
And that’s terrifying, not only here but globally.
We also have a surprise Jan. 6 Committee hearing, complete with surprise witnesses. Things are definitely heating up in that regard. I’m very curious to see what comes.

It’s also very sunny today, and yet somehow quiet, as though everyone is waiting for the hearing. It feels like a “just before” moment, like what comes next will be big enough to shift the universe.
Maybe I am too optimistic.
But something is definitely in the air.
