We had some wild storms yesterday, apparently winds were nearly hurricane force and I realize, as I watched the trees sway and the water fall in dense, heavy clumps, that’s what it reminded me of.
Hurricane footage.
Thankfully, however, it was not a hurricane but a mere strong thunderstorm that didn’t last nearly as long as one. Though it did do a ton of damage throughout the area, with downed trees, many of which seemed to find (parked) cars to fall on, and loss of power for, I think I just read, 170,000 households.
More storms are expected today, but I don’t think they’re supposed to be anywhere near as strong.
But who knows.
The construction noise continues, and today I sit here without coffee because it not only took away the quiet, but the water, at least in the kitchen. And I am being coffee-deprived dramatic because the shut-off was only for an hour (as compared to the half- and full-days in the past in former places) and it should be over by now but I am not entirely sure.
I could investigate.
But I’m already sitting and typing. Which I could be doing far more vividly with coffee, I’m sure you can read the drag.
So wish me luck, I am hoping to be in Coffee Land in no time.
Ooh. Coffee Land. An amazing place that always smells delicious, the rivers flow full of delicious drip, churning into latte waterfalls downstream. And everyone is WIRED.
Anyway, that’s it for me today, have a great Thursday, and if you are also getting wild weather, please stay safe.
