#FridayThoughts: Even keel

Standard

It’s dramatic out today, with dramatic clouds and dramatic wind and it’s colder than it’s been. It feels more fally than springy and maybe it is, maybe we entirely missed summer and didn’t know it.

I had a great breakfast, with berries and yogurt and nut butter and wheat germ and nuts, and they were the first good strawberries I’ve had in a long time.

It’s the little things right now.

There’s a new season of show I like on Netflix, “Dead to Me,” I didn’t enjoy at first but the cast won me over, the chemistry between Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini is beyond superb. Christina is comic perfection, if you haven’t watched her short-lived series, “Samantha Who,” I highly recommend it.

So things are bad, as a whole, but today I don’t feel terrible, and I’m going to take that as a win. And you’re welcome to join me.

Have a wonderful Friday, whatever that means for you in this new world, and a great weekend.
