#FridayThoughts: Every day is like Sunday

Standard

Somehow we’ve made it back around to Friday, and there’s loud hammering. It’s supposed to be an official holiday but those don’t matter anymore.

Every day is like Sunday, as the song goes.

It’s sunny and hot, and summer but not really summer as we had no spring.

I’m at a high level of fed up, like so many of us, and my tolerance is very low. Politeness seems like something not long for the rest of the 21st century.

But still, it is Friday and Hamilton is available to stream, and I’ll be making pizza tonight. All of those things are good things.

Still I think it’s fine to acknowledge that things aren’t good and they’re not getting better. They can get better if we make it so in November, but unless we do, they will not.

Anyway, have a good Friday and a nice weekend.
