#FridayThoughts: More familiar than their own breath.

Standard

Wow do I need more coffee. I can sit here thinking about it or just do it.

I’m going to do it. I’ll be right back.

OK, I’m back and it’s brewing. I bet you didn’t even notice I was gone.

I’ve been thinking lately about how this world could be a wonderful place for everyone in it. How there’s no need for violence. How there is more than enough if we could only learn to share.

And yet those who seek power for some strange sort of validation always seem to find it. Those whose greed is more familiar to them than their own breath.

We had a nice little window, didn’t we, with the internet games.

Meanwhile it’s sunny today. There was talk of snow but I don’t think it looks like it. The weather says this afternoon.

Maybe.

At least my coffee’s ready.

And with that, I will call it a week. Have a great Friday and a fantastic weekend.
