#FridayThoughts: Whatever works.

It’s a sunny day after snow yesterday, but it’s still very cold. I’m unsettled and edgy, but today needs to be a focus day.

Good luck to me on that.

I may have to turn to my tried and true method of using a timer, breaking things up into little chunks just to keep moving. You should try it.

It works.

Sometimes getting through the things we need to get through isn’t pretty. Sometimes it’s a slog or a grind or no detectable movement whatsoever.

Those days are tough.

So my answer to that, besides more coffee when appropriate, is do whatever works. It may not be the best you’ve ever done, it may barely be adequate but at least you’ve done something.

And that’s good enough.

Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend if you can.
