#FridayThoughts: Can’t change the facts.

Standard

Another cloudy day here in Chicago, maybe rain, maybe not. Wait, let me take that back, definitely yes, according to the weather, and not that hot either.

I’m deeply into my second cup of coffee, willing it to do its coffee magic. But it’s in an epic battle with the weather. I wonder who will win.

Probably the weather.

You can always tell when trump and his cronies are getting nervous by the trolls and what they’re saying. Currently they’re trying to group Speaker Emeritus Pelosi and mcconnell as the two people who prevented a national guard response.

The response was not under their control, but I’m also posting the Christopher Miller memo restricting the potential response from the National Guard. It’s pretty shocking, really, within the context of what was coming and how directly the points relate to what happened.

And as a reminder it’s telling the Guard it COULD NOT do those activities.

Given this memo has gotten harder to find online, I’m putting it here as a reminder of the truth and the reality of who was in control and what they wanted. Not to mention the fact that trump NEVER AUTHORIZED the National Guard on January 6. It was Pence, not trump.

The thing is propagandists want to make the edges all fuzzy, to blur what happened into something less incriminating.

There is no less incriminating.

Anyway, that’s it for me this week. Have a terrific Friday and a wonderful weekend.
