I’d like to blame it on the new format this year but it’s not that. It’s just as easy to go through the links on the A to Z site, or find posts on twitter, or find others through comments on posts. The blogs are everywhere.
Could it just be that I’m having a streak of another L word?
Laziness?
I admit I am preoccupied with the goings-on of the world, with tensions high and an utterly unpredictable person in the White House, someone who’s proven his readiness to use violent, powerful weapons at a whim. And when I need to be writing, I am like this sometimes, staring at a block instead of working my way around it.
So if I’ve neglected you recently, I apologize, believe me, every unclicked click is cannonballing itself onto my pile of guilt. But there is an upside to it all.
Lax is an l-word.

Must be the mid-month slump. I’m not keeping up with visits so well either. Of course, I always have a little trouble with that. I’d planned to do it during down-times at work yesterday, but we had too many interesting conversations going.

I think you’re right about the slump, and thanks for visiting, considering! I may just need more caffeine in my life…if only it didn’t come with side-effects!

LOL so my post was Lazy for today. Not what I had planned, but… the 9-5 has been challenging this week and hasn’t allowed any time to visit. It is a good thing we have a day off coming. the good thing is we are almost at the 1/2 way point. Onward!!!

That little thing called life has a habit of getting in the way. Life has certainly kept me from keeping up to date with the blogs that I’ve been enjoing (apart from yours, and obviously Debs’ (http://www.bunnyandthebloke.com/), I’ve been really enjoying Iain Kelly’s Scandinavian Noir (https://iainkellywriting.wordpress.com/) and James Pailey’s Science themed challange (https://planetpailly.com/). Oh and…no I’ll stop there… A catch up day is essential!

And unfortunately I’m out and about today! But the weather is so lovely.

Here, too. Have been in the garden two days running, rather than catching up on posts…

When the weather is nice you have to take your opportunities! Growing anything fun?

Mainly trying to keep the weeds under contol, but we’ve put some nice flowers in, haven’t killed the sunflowers (yet) and have sweet-peas, tomatoes and the like under control. Lack of organasation at the moment so this will not be the year that we manage to get normal growing underway, but we usually manage some salad crops and runner-beans. We might get some carrots in. Maybe.

That sounds really lovely! I’d say that sounds pretty organized to me…I haven’t even gotten around to planting these little spring seeds I got for my windowsill.
And it’s a kit.

Sounds like a good procrastination project to me!
Let’s just say that the garden is a work in progress, which to some extent it should be. One day we’ll get to a point of minimal upkeep…
